5 Things to Look for in a Godly Husband:
This post is for girls who are not married yet. The ones who may be looking or praying for God to send them a husband. These are just some characteristics I looked for in a husband, and these are some that I prayed to God for when I was looking for a spouse.

He loves Jesus!
This one is huge. The man you marry should have a relationship with the Lord and put Him first in life. He should be actively seeking the Lord. While this is hard to find these days, there are young men out there who truly love the Lord. The Bible is clear about being unequally yoked and it can prevent future problems if you are on the same page regarding your faith.
He is a Conservative
This is another big one. We should be looking for someone with the same political views as us. This can again, prevent future arguments, issues, and resentment. This also will give you both something to bond over if you both like to discuss politics.
Working
Pray for a man who is willing to go to work. While this one may seem silly, having a man who is willing to provide for his family is huge. This can take a load off of you and you can focus on things like your job or being a stay at home wife or mother. A man who works and provides for his family is a good man!
Family Oriented
This is another one that is a big deal. You want to make sure your future husband wants to have children. If not, this can cause a lot of problems. You need to discuss this before committing to get married or even before you are engaged. Being on the same page about how many children you both want and preferences on discipline.You will want to be on the same page about this.
Patient
Pray for a husband who is patient. While all of us are sinners, praying for a man who will speak kindly to you in a disagreement and not fly off the handle is important. While yes, there may be some disagreements here and there that are tough to get through.
