What You Need:

  • 1 pound ground sausage (spicy or mild)

  •  8 ounces cream cheese, softened

  •  1 cup sour cream

  •  1 packet (1 ounce) ranch seasoning mix

  •  1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  •  1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  •  1/2 cup diced tomatoes (optional)

  •  1/4 cup diced green onions for garnish

Instructions:

  • - Brown the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks. Once fully cooked, drain off any excess grease and set aside.

  •  - In a large bowl, blend together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning until you have a smooth, well-combined mixture.

  •  - Add your cooked sausage crumbles, both types of shredded cheese, and diced tomatoes (if using) to the cream cheese mixture. Stir everything together until it's evenly combined.

  •  - Heat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer your dip mixture to a greased 8×8-inch baking dish, smooth out the top, and sprinkle with a little extra cheese if you're feeling generous.

  • - Pop it in the oven for 20-25 minutes, until it's hot and bubbly with perfectly melted cheese on top.

  •  - Let the dip cool for about 5 minutes, then sprinkle it with fresh green onions. Serve it with your favorite tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh veggies.
